THITTAM APP: Efficient Monitoring of Rural Development Works in Tamil Nadu

THITTAM APP is a utility and tools application developed by the National Informatics Centre for the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu. This app aims to streamline the monitoring process of development works executed by various agencies in rural areas.

With THITTAM APP, authorized Assistant Engineers and Overseers can login and access the works under progress in their jurisdiction. The app provides a comprehensive list of more than 500 types of works, including the construction of school buildings, anganwadi buildings, panchayat office buildings, roads, street lights, and water supply works. Users can easily mark the site for each work using geofencing technology.

One of the key features of THITTAM APP is its offline and online mode. This allows users to continue working even in areas with limited or no internet connectivity. The app also generates various reports at the block, district, and state levels to monitor the progress of works executed under different schemes.
